I have never really considered blogging until now. I have always been for writing, but more as a way of getting my thoughts and feelings out on paper – a place where they make a little more sense. Sharing it with those who care to read has never been a concern, but my photography journals and notebooks are not something I like to lend to people. They stay in my safekeeping and are always close by. They are never even packed as ‘checked luggage’ on trips – of which there are many. They serve as personal evidence of my growth, and I can’t stand the thought of losing them.
The phobia of my ‘originality’ being stolen was a childish one, and all creativity is based on learning from what others have or have not achieved. I have come to learn the value of sharing ideas and thoughts with people, so hopefully this blog opens some new doors. I want to start it by posting old journal entries until I am caught up. Some of them go as far back as two years (and if I can find any older ones, they will go up too). So while this blog is entirely new as of today, the entries have been on paper for a while.
Please feel free to comment or get in touch regarding any posts.
